Being alone can be one of the toughest parts of staying in recovery.

There is always someone available t keep you company in active addiction.   There is always someone ready to use your money or property.

There is no real solution to being alone.

For me it's my self confidence and self esteem that makes me ok with loneliness.

The more things I do to boost my self confidence and self esteem, the better I feel about myself.

The more I love myself, and care about myself, the easier it is to be alone with myself and not want to leave recovery.

People have always told me "find yourself a hobby" and that's not bad advice.

In my life, my personal experience,  when I learned how to love myself, I was then able to stay clean by myself.
